Chapter 701 I love her to death!
Chapter 701 I love her to death!
Ma Xiu waved her hand, and immediately someone brought over a large box and handed it to Li Shuwen.
"This is a tea blend I made with fairy flowers," she said. "While it can't compare to that treasure that can prolong life, drinking it regularly is good for restoring energy."
"It's just... a small token of my appreciation."
Li Shuwen took the box and felt the faint, warm fairy energy emanating from it.
"Thanks."
Ma Xiu then turned to Shirona and handed her a small box.
"This is a silk scarf I designed, a limited edition for the Aromatherapy City. It will look great on you."
Cynthia opened the box, inside was a pale purple silk scarf embroidered with delicate fairy patterns and adorned with a few small pearls along the edges.
She took it out and compared it; in the sunlight, the silk scarf shimmered with a soft sheen.
"So beautiful," she exclaimed sincerely.
Ma Xiu smiled, then opened her arms and gave Cynthia a big hug.
"Come often," she whispered. "Don't forget your best friend just because you have a boyfriend."
Cynthia blushed slightly, but still hugged her back tightly.
"Yes."
After the two separated, Ma Xiu looked at Li Shuwen and blinked.
"Shuwen," she said playfully, "if you dare to bully Cynthia, I won't let you get away with it."
Li Shuwen paused for a moment, then smiled, a rare occurrence.
"I wouldn't dare, the only possibility is that Cynthia is bullying me," he said.
After all, being called a beauty by someone is something Cynthia will want to live off for the rest of her life.
Cynthia blushed even more.
Ma Xiu looked at the two of them, her eyes crinkling into crescent moons with a smile.
"Alright, alright, I'll stop teasing you." She waved her hand. "Have a safe trip."
"Next time you come," she called out, "I'll take you to eat the best ice cream in Aroma City!"
The car slowly started and drove along the path through the flower fields into the distance.
Ma Xiu stood there, watching the car go further and further away until it disappeared from sight.
She looked up at the azure sky and took a deep breath.
"That's nice," she said softly.
Behind her, a fairy spirit floated out and gently nuzzled her hand.
Ma Xiu looked down at it and smiled.
"Let's go," she said. "We should keep trying."
The fairy spirit cried out happily and followed behind her back to the gym.
The car drove out of Aroma City and headed towards the dock along the winding road.
Cynthia looked at the city receding into the distance in the rearview mirror, a smile still playing on her lips.
"That girl, Ma Xiu," she said, "is still the same as always."
Li Shuwen drove without saying a word.
Cynthia turned to look at him.
"Books and texts".
"Um?"
"Do you think," she paused, "that Ma Xiu will become even stronger in the future?"
Li Shuwen remained silent for a while.
"Yes, it will," he said.
Cynthia raised an eyebrow: "So sure?"
Li Shuwen nodded.
"The fire in her heart has been rekindled," he said. "A person with fire in their heart will never stop."
Cynthia looked at him, something flickering in her eyes.
"And what about you?" she asked softly, "Is the fire in your heart still burning?"
Li Shuwen did not answer immediately.
He looked at the road ahead and at the horizon that was gradually appearing in the distance.
"Yes, it's always been here."
Li Shuwen's voice was soft, yet unusually firm.
Cynthia smiled slightly.
She leaned back in her seat, watching the scenery outside the window rush past.
"That's good."
The car continued forward, taking Li Shuwen and Shirona back to the forest where Little Diancie lived.
Li Shuwen used his waveguide power to examine Diancie's body and confirmed that she was indeed growing vigorously.
While you're at it, help little Diancie sort out the fairy energy within her.
Little Diancie's body had grown a little larger than when she first hatched, and her pink diamonds were even more crystal clear, refracting a dazzling light in the sunlight.
What's most surprising are those eyes; they're no longer the innocent ones from when I was just born, but are full of lively brilliance, as if they could speak.
"How is it?" Daigo proudly picked up little Diancie and held her up in front of the two of them. "Did I take good care of her? Look at her radiance, her vitality, her spirit!"
Little Tianxi waved her little hand cooperatively and made a "ee-ee" sound.
Cynthia reached out and gently touched little Diancie's head. The little guy actually squinted his eyes comfortably and rubbed against her palm.
"Indeed, very good." Li Shuwen nodded, giving a rare high praise, "In terms of taking care of little Tianxi, I would call you the strongest."
Daigo's eyes lit up instantly.
That expression showed even more satisfaction than if he had obtained a rare ore.
He took little Diancie back into his arms, nuzzled its tiny body with his cheek, and let out a sigh of immense satisfaction:
"I love her to death!!"
Little Tianci giggled as she was rubbed against Daigo's face, patting his cheek with her little hands.
As Cynthia watched this scene, the corners of her mouth unconsciously turned up.
But before she could say anything, a figure appeared on the grass.
Naz.
Her gaze swept over the warm trio, finally settling on Li Shuwen.
"I'm sorry to have disturbed your peaceful time," she said calmly. "However, Mr. Shuwen, I'd like to have a match with you."
Li Shuwen raised his head.
"Now?"
"Now."
A sharp glint flashed in Naz's eyes.
"My Alakazam, I want to challenge your Gengar."
Li Shuwen smiled and nodded. "No problem. Where shall we fight?"
Naza spoke up, "Let's go to the beach; there's a suitable place there."
Naz raised her hand.
A purple light instantly enveloped Li Shuwen, Cynthia, and Daigo.
The next second, the four disappeared into the grass.
The sea breeze howled.
This is a remote coastline, with jagged rocks standing tall amidst the waves.
Above us was a cloudless blue sky, below us was a roaring sea, and behind us were steep cliffs.
This is a natural battlefield, the result of Naz's careful selection over this period of time.
Nazi and Li Shuwen stood facing each other, thirty meters apart.
Cynthia and Steven, holding Diancie, stood at the edge of the viewing area.
Little Tianci seemed to sense the change in atmosphere, and obediently huddled in Daigo's arms, her big eyes wide open, curiously watching the two figures facing each other below.
Sabrina raised her hand, and the keystone on her wrist lit up!
"Alakazam, Mega Evolve!"
"Gengar, let's Mega Evolve too!"
Two beams of seven-colored light exploded simultaneously!
Within the purple smoke, Gengar's form began to change, a third yellow demonic eye opened on its forehead, and its entire body was enveloped in shadow energy, as if a nightmare had descended from the depths of another dimension.
On the other side, Alakazam's figure also changed in the light. The sage's large white beard, a red gem on his forehead, and his superpowers surged as if they were tangible, forming a purple halo around his body.
The moment I opened my eyes, an invisible sense of oppression enveloped the entire coastline.
Super Gengar.
Super Alakazam.
Two top-tier Ghost-type and Psychic-type representatives are facing off from afar.
It sounded as if sparks were crackling in the air.
"Alakazam," Sabrina's voice rang out, sharper than ever before, "Psychic Blade!"
Hu Di raised his hand.
Without gathering strength or preparing, he simply raised his hand slightly.
The next second, countless purple blades appeared in the sky.
The blades didn't shoot out from Alakazam's hand, but instead condensed directly in space, surrounding Mega Gengar from all directions, up, down, left, and right.
Each blade was solid as a physical object, its edges gleaming with a sharpness capable of cutting through anything.
Then they slashed down simultaneously!
This is a saturation attack with no blind spots, a manifestation of the ultimate control over superpowers.
