Kai Jacobs had not heard about Stella Charlie reconciling with Vincent Warner.A few days ago, Stella Charlie had sent him a message saying she’d found a good blind date and planned to give it a try.

Kai Jacobs: "I won’t interfere with things between you and her. If she’s willing to accept you again, I will still wish you both well."

Even though Kai Jacobs’ words were kind, Vincent Warner’s gaze at him remained cold: "You and she aren’t related; it’s not your place to give blessings."

Kai Jacobs just smiled slightly, not explaining anything.

After a short silence, Vincent Warner spoke first: "Call her and ask where she is."

Kai Jacobs glanced at Vincent Warner, guessing that he likely couldn’t contact Stella Charlie, so he asked him to call.

Unaware of the situation, Stella Charlie answered the call and truthfully told Kai Jacobs where she was.

After pondering internally, Kai Jacobs informed Vincent Warner: "She’s returned to the country on a business trip and will be back in about a week."

"Returned to the country?" Vincent Warner murmured, then immediately headed to the airport.

Stella Charlie saw Vincent Warner the following evening at a dinner meeting.

She only heard from her boss that an important friend was invited for dinner at the last minute, only to find out that this important friend was Vincent Warner.

Of course, she wouldn’t think this was a coincidence.

Since Vincent Warner could communicate with her boss in French, Stella Charlie thought she could, as she did last time, sit quietly on the side.

As the dinner meeting was nearing its end, Vincent Warner switched to French to speak to the boss: "I heard Miss Charlie is also proficient in Spanish, and I happen to have a meeting with a Spanish client shortly. Would it be possible to borrow some of Miss Charlie’s time?"

The boss looked at Stella Charlie with a knowing smile and answered for her: "Sure, sure, we don’t have any plans afterward. Stella is still single; if there are any excellent gentlemen around Mr. Warner, perhaps you can introduce them to her."

Vincent Warner chuckled softly and nodded. The boss stood up and said, "You two are from the same hometown, surely there are many topics to chat about. I’ll head back and rest first. Can I trouble Mr. Warner to take her back to the hotel afterward?"
