Chapter 352 Untitled Draft 12
Chapter 352 Untitled Draft 12
On the spacious deck, Luffy charged left and right like a whirlwind, his sword flashing, each swing sending sprays of blood flying as sea monsters fell one after another under his relentless onslaught. Nami, meanwhile, nimbly weaved through the sea monsters' attacks, dodging their sharp teeth and claws while simultaneously adjusting the Sunny's course to ensure the ship's safety.
Just as everyone was fully focused on fighting the sea monster, a huge column of water suddenly surged up from the sea surface, as if it were being blasted out from the depths of the ocean by some powerful force. With the rise of the water column, a gigantic monster, exuding an evil aura, burst forth from the water. Its appearance was like a moving mountain, bringing an overwhelming sense of oppression.
The monster let out a deafening roar, a roar like thunder that shook the Sunny violently, almost knocking the crew off their feet. However, Luffy's eyes remained resolute. He stared fearlessly at the monster and shouted, "Whoever you are, I will defeat you!" Before the words were even finished, he charged towards the monster like an arrow released from a bow, and an even more thrilling battle began.
Just as everyone was immersed in the joy of their victory over the sea monster, suddenly, a dazzling light flashed across the ancient stone platform. This light pierced the darkness like lightning, and then a mysterious phantom slowly emerged. This phantom, as light and ethereal as smoke, rose slowly and gradually coalesced into a blurry humanoid shape.
All eyes were drawn to the mysterious phantom, which they watched warily, unsure of its sudden appearance. Under their gaze, the phantom slowly spoke, its voice seemingly from another world, ethereal and mysterious. The voice was clear and distant: "Warriors, you have passed the sea beast's test, but the real challenge has only just begun. Hidden in these waters is a treasure capable of granting unparalleled power, but also an ancient curse guarding it. If you insist on searching, you will surely fall into an endless abyss."
Luffy's eyes lit up, and he shouted excitedly, "A treasure? We have to find it! What curse? I'm not afraid!" Zoro drew his three swords, grinning, "That's right, no pirate would be scared away by a curse." The others echoed, rubbing their hands together in anticipation. The phantom sighed helplessly, "Since you won't listen to reason, then so be it. But remember, once this curse is triggered, no one can break it." With that, the phantom vanished into thin air.
Nami looked at everyone with concern: "Are you all really going? This curse sounds terrifying." Usopp shrank back: "Maybe we should just forget about it." Sanji patted Usopp's head: "Coward, with the captain here, what are you afraid of?"
So the Sunshine headed in the direction the phantom had indicated. The closer they got to that area of water, the more eerie the sea became, and a sinister atmosphere permeated the air. Suddenly, the ship began to rock violently, as if something enormous was moving underwater. Everyone gripped their weapons, ready for battle; a new crisis was quietly approaching.
Zoro, with his hands holding his sword and a sharp look in his eyes, said, "We won't be intimidated by such words."
Sanji, with a cigarette dangling from his lips, said dismissively, "The treasure is right there; there's no reason not to take it."
Luffy jumped up excitedly: "No matter what the curse is, I'm going to get the treasure!"
Seeing the resolute determination of the crowd, the phantom sighed helplessly: "Since you won't listen to reason, then go. But remember, greed will blind you; only justice and courage in your hearts can lead you out of this predicament." With that, the phantom gradually dissipated.
